Little black dress without a doubt, is essential in any girl’s closet. It’s a versatile piece that you can rock while requiring just few effort to style. Since, we’re all staying home for our safety, obviously LBDs are the last option we’d want to wear. Since we opt for comfort ,its very tempting to choose oversized tees, silk pajamas, and anything comfortable.
Do you always feel like 24 hours in a day is not enough? Being fully occupied with work or personal errands, many women find themselves constantly loaded, to the point where they no longer have the time to treat themselves.
Are you one of them? Put in mind that you are human and taking a pause to care for yourself shouldn’t be neglected. If your lifestyle is constantly on the go, make sure to insert self-care habits to avoid getting ‘burned out’. Here are some tips to squeeze in some ‘me’
1. Enjoy your shower (ရေချိုးချိန်ကို ဇိမ်ရှိရှိအသုံးချပါ။)
Don’t rush your time in the shower. Make your shower routine a self-care time by adding in some special treats. This could be playing your favorite music, or using special towels or scents for your body.
2. Make meditation a part of your daily routine. (တရားထိုင်ခြင်းကို နေ့တဓူဝလုပ်ရိုးလုပ်စဉ်တစ်ခုလိုပြုလုပ်ပါ။)
Meditation is proven to have a special effect on a person’s well-being. If you want to give it a try, start with at least five minutes every morning, then slowly increase the time to 10 minutes. If you have difficulty concentrating your thoughts, you can download an application that can help you.
3. Enjoy your lunchtime. (နေ့လည်စာစားချိန်မှာ အပြည့်အဝအနားယူပါ။)
Step away from your computer or work desk and find an enjoyable dining spot in your office. You deserve to enjoy your break and besides you’ll be able to stretch your legs and let your eyes rest. You’ll be able to enjoy your food and go back to work with a fresher mood.
5. Treat yourself once in a while. (ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကိုယ် မကြာခဏဆုပေးပါ။)
If there is one person who deserves to be treated that is — YOU. Little treats like buying your favorite bubble tea or shopping a dress you love; as long as it makes you feel good. For example, if there is a sale why not grab the opportunity to treat yourself once in a while. You know you deserve it for working so hard.
“One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals. And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I really don’t invest any energy in them, because I know who I am.” -Michelle Obama
“Whenever I feel bad, I use that feeling to motivate me to work harder. I only allow myself one day to feel sorry for myself. When I’m not feeling my best I ask myself, ‘What are you gonna do about it?’ I use the negativity to fuel the transformation into a better me.” -Beyonce
“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you.” -Maya Angelou
